Snacking and calories:
Snacking is a dietary behavior that has increased in recent decades in the United States. USDA researchers are examining dietary intake survey data from more than 5,000 adults aged 20 years and older to focus on snacking habits, which are associated with increased caloric intake and decreased nutrient intake.
