The Heartland CISMA has TWO training workshops coming up for November to make you extra thankful.
The first is a Tree ID Workshop on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 with RSVP required to reserve a seat (see attached Tree ID flyer). For more info, see the contact number on the flyer or email MJ at MCarnevale@mywinterhaven.com or Carrie Kotal at kotalc@doacs.state.fl.us .
The second is an interactive workshop on invasives prioritization covering topics such as prioritization basics, weed management plans and annual work plans. The training will be held at the Polk County Extension office in Bartow, Florida on November 13, 2012. CEUs are pending. Registration is online at Weedpriorities.eventbrite.com. If you have questions, please contact Debi Tharp at dtharp@tnc.org or Shannon McGee at smcgee@ufl.edu.
And, which spelling of flyer/flier do you prefer? Tomato, tomahto?
