Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Success Stories The District has a new video that highlights the benefits of Florida-Friendly Landscaping™. Learn how communities, developers and landscape professionals have embraced Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ practices.      Watch The Weather, Wait to Water  As we head into the summer months, remember that yards need no more than ¾ inch of water every two to three days.  If your lawn has received enough water from rainfall, turn off your irrigation system and turn it back on when needed. Find out more!      District Accepting Splash! School Grant Applications The District is now accepting applications for the Splash! school grant program for the 2013-2014 school year. Splash! grants provide up to $3,000 per teacher to enhance student knowledge of freshwater resources issues.
