When: October 7, 2014 10:00am-12:00pm

Learn to graft your own tomato plants (and keep them alive!). Dr. Monica Ozores-Hampton and Crystal Snodgrass will teach you how to graft your own tomato plants. These plants will be resistant to Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus (TYLCV), a major problem for both gardeners and commercial growers. After this hands on workshop, you will be able to graft tomatoes and keep them growing in a growth chamber. You will take home approximately 6 plants of different types and varieties, just in time for your fall garden. Your $20 fee includes grafted plants and all materials as well as light refreshments.
Registration: You can register online through Eventbrite at http://commercialveg.eventbrite.com
