Good Afternoon,
In an effort to promote healthy lifestyles and provide schoolchildren in the state of Florida with Fresh from Florida produce, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS or Department) seeks producers who can provide fresh, high-quality, seasonal, Florida-grown produce products to participating school districts.
The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a firm fixed price for fresh produce to be procured by the current distributors of individual participating school districts for use in federal child nutrition programs throughout the state of Florida through March 31, 2014.

Invitation to Bid will be opened at the below address at 02:00 P.M., January 22, 2014.
