Hello Pomegranate Friends,
It is almost spring, the pomegranate trees in Florida are beginning to awaken. What happens now?
To help us answer that question and more FPA presents the 2016 FL Pomegranate Growers Meeting.
Several pomegranate experts are gathering in one location at the Gulf Coast Research Education Center on one day next month.
Yara has generously sponsored your lunch for that day ...and there is still time to reserve your seat.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 4th Florida's Finest Pomegranate Growers / Nurseries / Grower's Supply Exhibitors will be available to welcome you and friends to a casual Meet & Greet. Heavy-hitters in the pomegranate arena will be there to share their valuable knowledge throughout the morning session. Learn firsthand the results of the 2 year pomegranate Block Grant Study and find out how well the Florida pomegranate breeding program is growing. Following the chef-prepared pomegranate-infused lunch about noon and the popular Door Prize Drawing shortly thereafter the afternoon session is filled with more exciting information for the new and seasoned pomegranate enthusiasts and organic growers.
It is going to be an info-packed day loaded with pomegranate research news, tasty treats, fantastic door prizes, some of those hard-to-find pom trees and plenty of friendly folks to chat with.
Register today and prepare your wish list because Florida-grown Pomegranate Trees ready for adoption will be on-site. FPA recently confirmed that some attendees are guaranteed to be going home with a Free pomegranate tree. Chances are it could be you or your guest.
