Invasive Species Symposium: New Challenges and Initiatives in Invasive Species Management in the Greater Caribbean Region

Call for Abstracts: Oral Presentations & Posters
Invasive insect and plant diseases are ongoing and continuing challenges for plant health protection organizations throughout the Caribbean basin. The proposed symposium offers a venue for researchers and plant health professionals to highlight new challenges -or- ongoing pest and plant disease programs, as well as novel approaches to partnering, sharing of resources and information among plant protection organizations.
Symposia organizers are requesting abstracts for 15 minute oral presentations (10 min + 5 minutes questions) or poster presentations for the following topics: (Please note: priority selection will be given to those papers that affect the entire Caribbean region, or multiple nations).
- Plant pathogens threatening crop production & natural resources
- Key invasive insect plant pests of crop production & natural resources
- Multi-national / agency invasive species partnering initiatives
Authors are required to register for the conference at http://cfcs.eea.uprm.edu
