The National AgrAbility Project (www.agrability.org) is hosting an event in Jacksonville from September 30th – October 2nd to introduce AgrAbility, and promote collaborative opportunities for stakeholders to work together to make agriculture a viable option for individuals who have sustained injury or illness.
AgrAbility is a program sponsored by the US Department of Agriculture that provides assistance to farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural workers and farm family members impacted by disability. The project consists of a National AgrAbility Project (Breaking New Ground Resource Center at Purdue University), as well as 24 State and Regional AgrAbility Projects, each involving collaborative partnerships between land grant universities and various nonprofit disability services organizations.

Collaboration Exploration - A presentation on the collaborative partnership between the Hyatt, Hands On Education, and State Vocational Rehab Agencies
Tuesday – October 1st: 8:30am – 4: 30pm & Dinner at 6pm
AgrAbility – the projets, funding and partners
Presentatons on veterans in agriculture, migrant farm workers, rural health initiatives, working with individuals with disabilities, agricultural concerns, agricultural opportunities, adaptive technology, and vocational rehabilitation
