Greetings,
Our first cool down of the fall reminds many of us that it’s time to start thinking about the 2014 blueberry crop. Feedback from growers has indicated interest in a program focused upon the discussion of hydrogen cyanamide use in commercial blueberries could be a benefit to the industry.
UF/IFAS Extension is conducting a Hydrogen Cyanamide Use in Commercial Blueberries Workshop at the UF/IFAS Extension Lake County Office/Lake County Ag Center in Tavares, Florida on Thursday, November 21, 2013 starting at 11:30 AM. This is an excellent opportunity for commercial blueberry producers to interact with researchers and manufacturer’s representatives of hydrogen cyanamide products to discuss this very important topic. I have attached a program announcement for your review. Please note that the required pre-registration for this workshop can be completed by following the link on the announcement.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Gary K. England
