Upcoming Programs through Mid-December

We have listed some upcoming programs occurring over the next several weeks:

 

November 15 – Last day to register for Central Florida Weather Watch at the reduced price.  Fred’s first Weekly Outlook will take place this day.  The Toll Free Telephone Number has been put in the mail today to those that have already signed up.  Information available by following the link below:

November 21 – (Reminder) Registration for the Hydrogen Cyanamide in Commercial Blueberries Workshop is open and some spots still remain.  The program will begin at 11:30 AM with a lunch provided by Workshop Sponsor Colorful Harvest plus Program Sponsors, Dormex and Green Trees and Plants II, LLC – BudPro.  This program has been approved for 2.5 Restricted Use Pesticide CEUs and is designed to be a forum for discussion among all participants about hydrogen cyanamide use in blueberries.  For Agenda and the required pre-registration information, please follow the link below:

December 11 – Osceola County Extension in Kissimmee is hosting the Osceola/Brevard CHMA and Asian Psyllid Management Program which includes a lunch sponsored by Triangle Chemical.  Dr. Michael Rogers will present his latest findings on ACP management, including information on some of the new chemistries available to growers.  Additional program information and required pre-registration information is available by following the link below:

December 12 – The Citrus Research and Education Center is holding a Rootstock Field Day where attendees will be able to observe some promising selections that have demonstrated some “tolerance” to HLB infection.  For more information and required pre-registration, please follow the link below:
