Alachua County Tours Longleaf Pine Forest, conservation easement on Santa Fe River

Alachua County Longleaf Pine Restoration Tour

 

WHAT:  Workshop and tour of the Simons’ Tree Farm. Tour will feature longleaf pine forest restoration, sinkholes and a conservation easement on Santa Fe River. Longleaf pine forests provide ideal habitat for a diverse array of plants and animals and are important to protecting springs and groundwater.  

 

WHERE:  Off NW 227th Drive, High Springs, FL

WHEN:  April 24, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
