There is an eagle cam set up at http://www.berry.edu/eaglecam/ that’s been having a lot of activity with both parents, one hatchling and one egg. The parents are regularly bringing fish to the nest. The eagles are nesting on the Berry College campus in Floyd County, Georgia in a tall pine tree. Georgia Power donated a truck and manpower to install the camera, which was donated by Sony. Wireless transmission and equipment were donated by Fluid Mesh Networks. Warning: this may detract from your work as it’s difficult to stop watching once you start.
This blog is for Polk County Florida small farms and pesticide applicators as a method of communication and sharing information. This blog is administered by the University of Florida IFAS Extension Polk County Extension Agent, Mary Beth Henry.
