The 2012 Polk County Water School will culminate in a discussion about the future of water management in Polk County and throughout the region. Session VII will be on Thursday, May 31, from 3:00-5:30 p.m. at the W.H. Stuart Center, 1702 Highway 17 South, Bartow.
Speakers: Mike Britt, Natural Resources Director, City of Winter Haven; Central Florida Aerospace Academy students (youth perspective on why water management is important); and David Rathke, Chief of Staff, Southwest Florida Water Management District.
