Don't Miss the UF/IFAS Extension Centennial Celebration, Saturday, Sep. 27, 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.--Food, Fun, Prizes--FREE

Dear Extension Advisory Members and Friends:

 

Tell your neighbors and bring your family! The Extension team has a great day of fun and learning planned for you on Saturday, at the Extension office in Bartow, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

 

For the public that’s never heard of Extension:

--Interactive learning sessions featuring each of the Extension program areas of agriculture, natural resources, horticulture, 4-H, families and nutrition, and community development

--Garden tours, featuring Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ and the newly renovated Small Farms and Edibles garden

--Meet the Agents session to familiarize residents with the University of Florida experts that live right in their own community!

 

For the kids:

--A 4-H archery range

--Big birthday cake bounce house!

--Letters to our military personnel

 

For you:

--Opportunity to eat cake, win prizes, and celebrate 100 years of the Extension Service with us!
