How predatory bugs can help save cornfields:
One of the worst pests of corn in the world, the corn rootworm, may owe its worldwide success partly to its larvae's nasty, sticky blood, according to findings by an ARS entomologist and his international colleagues. (11/30)

Recirculating systems for production of warm-water marine fish:
An ARS agricultural engineer has developed water recirculating systems for warm-water marine fish that have a number of advantages over pond systems: optimizing fish growth, reducing the incidence of pathogens and disease, conserving water and removing fish wastes. (12/2)
