FW: peaches and caribflies

I am a biologist with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Plant Industry. I am gathering information about the relationship between peaches and Caribbean fruit fly in Florida in order to better understand how we may control this pest. I’m curious whether this pest has affected your peach crops. It will be valuable to know if your peaches have not been affected as well. If you could take a moment to send me an email (Georgia.Keene@freshfromflorida.com) letting me know whether your crops have been affected, which peach varieties have been affected, anything about seasonal timing, patterns from year-to-year, or other details you can share, I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you,

Georgia Keene
