SWFSFN Announcement of Bulk Order for Organic Seed Potato

Hello, members and supporters of the SW FL Small Farmers Network (SWFSFN).  We are emailing everyone to inquire about the level of interest for a bulk order of organic seed potato from a vender in North Carolina, i.e., New Sprout Farms – see http://www.newsproutfarms.com/

To see the types and prices of organic seed potato from this vender see http://www.newsproutfarms.com/store

FYI - The announcement is being initiated by SWFSFN member Gateway Organic Farm in Clearwater (see http://www.gatewayorganicfarm.com/).  They are interested in reducing the delivery costs for organic seed potato by partnering with fellow SWFSN members on a bulk order.

To participate in this bulk order, please, follow these steps:

1)      email Pam and Hank Sindlinger at Gateway Organic Farm to express your interest in joining a bulk order – email them at pms4sure@aol.com

2)      a sufficient number of folks need to contacted Pam and Hank before a bulk order can be placed with New Sprout Farms.  Once a bulk order is feasible, you would be told your share to the delivery costs to truck the seed potatoes to FL.  The pick-up location would be the Sarasota County Extension office at 6700 Clark Road in Sarasota.

3)      FYI – the bulk order would require everyone  to place and pay for their order directly for themselves with New Sprout Farms.  The delivery of your personal order would be tied to this bulk order.

Please, feel free to share this email with any grower who may be interested in this opportunity by SWFSFN.

Thanks,

Robert
