Greetings, local food system colleagues,

 

The Niche Meat Processor Assistance Network is hiring a new Program Manager, and we'd like your help finding just the right person. 

 

The Niche Meat Processor Assistance Network (NMPAN) is a national, cooperative extension-based network that includes practitioners (producers, processors, other related businesses), government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and others supporting processing infrastructure essential to local and regional meat production. NMPAN is also an eXtension Community of Practice.

 

NMPAN is currently housed at Oregon State University (OSU) within the Center for Small Farms and Community Food Systems and is directed by the Extension Community Food Systems Specialist. 

The Program Manager position is a 0.75 FTE, fixed term professional faculty position at OSU; telecommuting is an option.  

 

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

 

OSU is an AA/EOE/Vets/Disabled.
