The 35th annual FAPMS training conference will be held October 10-13, 2011 at the Renaissance Resort World Golf Village, in St. Augustine, FL. The call for papers ends July 31st. Aquatic plant managers are encouraged to submit a presentation. We are seeking talks on herbicide application and mechanical techniques (aquatic and right-of-way), herbicide mixtures, innovative control measures, revegetation projects, the discovery of new weed infestations, etc. Remember, FAPMS was formed for the aquatic plant manager and the annual training conference is a chance to share what you have learned with other members. Each year the Society awards a plaque to all applicators/field personnel who give a presentation. The plant managers presenting the top three papers will receive a plaque and cash award: $300 for first place; $200 for second place; $100 for third place.
More information is available at www.fapms.org and a submission form is attached.
