Polk County Tourist Development Council’s primary objective is to increase overnight stays in Polk County accommodations and enhance the county’s economic climate. - Meet in the Workshop for an indoor presentation or introduction to the night sky and a discussion on what types of telescopes are best for star gazing, and then, step outside for the big viewing event.

- The Bartow Farmers Market is home to a variety of vendors with different fresh produce, plants, preserves, pickles, and artisans every weekend.
Dog Day of Summer

Venue: Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales
- Leashed and friendly dogs are invited to visit Bok Tower Gardens along with their owners to help support the Humane Society of Polk County and receive dog grooming tips along with health, safety and adoption information.

Servapalooza Polk

- Servapalooza is an interactive volunteer festival, where businesses, non-profit, faith-based and government organizations throughout Polk County will showcase their community outreach projects and participants learn about local volunteer opportunities.
