Webinar for Beginning Farmers: “Gaining Access to Farmland: Economic Considerations of Farm Leasing”

February 19, 2014, 3:00 – 4:00 PM

The Virginia Beginning Farmer and Rancher Coalition Program will host a free webinar for beginning farmers. Dr. Gordon Groover, Extension Economist Farm Management will present on basic economic considerations of leasing, establishing a negotiation range, and valuation of assets and other inputs supplied by the leaseholder and/or landlord.
