New UF IFAS Extension Greenhouse Training Online extension course Costing and Profitability - opportunities for county faculty

Dear UF IFAS Extension colleagues

Our new Greenhouse Training Online extension course, Costing and Profitability, runs from Oct 30 to Dec 1.

This new course includes contributions by UF IFAS extension economists Alan Hodges and Kevin Athearn, horticulture economist and endowed chair Charlie Hall (Texas A&M University), leading grower Bill Swanekamp (Kube-Pak Corp.), Rosanna Freyre from UF IFAS (providing Spanish language instruction), and myself.

The course provides greenhouse and nursery industry professionals with tools to improve costing, pricing, and profitability.

See the attached flyer and information below, if you are interested in taking the course as an inservice training (free for county extension faculty only) or publicizing the course with greenhouse and nursery industry clientele (providing you with revenue if you recruit local clientele), please contact greenhousetraining@ifas.ufl.edu for more information. Our website is http://hort.ifas.ufl.edu/training/.

Best regards, Paul
