ANNOUNCEMENT: Farm Bill listening session for private forest landowners on June 3

Forest landowner Farm Bill listening session with NRCS - June 3, 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET

 

Are you a landowner that has received, or is interested in receiving, assistance in private forest management or conservation from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)? Do you work with private forest landowners? Many programs that NRCS administers, including the Environmental Quality Incentives Program and the Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program, have been important sources of support for forest conservation.

 

Learn about new provisions in the new Farm Bill at a teleconference organized by National Association of Conservation Districts to:

 

1. Share experiences with assistance received from NRCS in forest management and conservation (what has been working and what has not been working); and to

2. Ask NRCS questions about new Farm Bill provisions that relate to forest management and conservation.
