2010 Florida Ag Expo
Announces Show Date
Florida Ag Expo Scheduled For
November 10, 2010 in Balm, Florida
Orlando, FL (June 8, 2010) – Coming off a year with record-setting attendance, the 2010 Florida Ag Expo (www.FloridaAgExpo.com) will take place Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at the University of Florida/IFAS Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Balm, Florida.
In 2009, the Florida Ag Expo welcomed more than 800 leading Florida vegetable, tomato, blueberry and strawberry growers with the latest information on production trends, water management, insect, weed and disease control strategies, and food safety.
The Florida Ag Expo also features indoor and outdoor displays with industry suppliers ready to share the latest product and service innovations with growers.
“The success that the Florida Ag Expo has enjoyed demonstrates the need for this type of event for Florida agriculture professionals,” said Dr. Jack Rechcigl, director, Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. “The event’s combination of in-depth education sessions and access to the latest products and services from industry suppliers make it a must-attend event for growers looking to improve their operations.”
Sponsors for the event include the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, the Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association, the Florida Tomato Committee, the Florida Strawberry Growers Association, and Florida Grower magazine.
