In the area(s) of origin or invasion of many of these pests, there have been significant advances in pest identity, host range, geographical distribution, biology, tools for detection and identification. This knowledge must be made available to researchers and regulatory personnel in the USA and the Caribbean Region in order to prevent the pests from becoming established in this area. Control of these pests must be addressed. This workshop will include specialists who will provide sound information on some of the most recent invasive pests and potential invaders, in order to provide researchers, regulatory personnel and growers with the necessary tools to address these potential threats. A major outcome of the Workshop will be a reference book that will include sections on the major invasive pests with chapters authored by invited speakers and participants. | Registration Fee Details Registration is now available for the Potential Invasive Pests Workshop.
