Growing okra

Hi there,

Great talking with you today!

Take a look at these reference publications regarding your okra.

Okra production http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/pdffiles/CV/CV12700.pdf

Weeds in okra http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/wg032

Nematodes in okra http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ng027

Pest profile http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/pi097

Disease in okra http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/pg049

Purple nutsedge http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/fw015

Yellow nutsedge http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/fw014

I don’t see any reference to purple mold or an easy treatment for sedges to fit your current circumstance.

Looking forward to seeing you on Monday and we’ll take a closer look!

Hope this helps and thanks for contacting Extension!
