Safety News & Notes: Reminder Keep Pets Safe Over the 4th of July

Just a reminder to think about your pets during the 4th of July long week-end. Thinking that some people will no doubt begin shooting fireworks on Friday and thru Sunday.  Many pets get terrified when they hear the noise and smell the smoke – often resulting in their finding ways out of the yard or house.  An article that explains the many things that can affect a pet over the 4th (including raiding the B-B-Q trash or being fed leftovers) can be found at: http://www.aahahealthypet.com/PetCare/PetCareArticle.aspx?art_key=a46dd6fc-9c78-413a-9a57-6f01531a6c73
