Spanish GI-BMP class - 3/23 in Okeechobee

Okeechobee County will be hosting a Green-Industry Best Management Practices class for Spanish speakers on Wednesday March 23.

If you have recently seen a copy of the brochure, the directions to our office were in English.  Christine Kelly-Begazo has provided me with the Spanish translation for the directions, and the revised pdf copy of the program announcement  is attached.  It can also be found on our website at: http://okeechobee.ifas.ufl.edu/032311.GI-BMPspanish.class.pdf

This training will include a post test and certification for the Limited Certification for Urban Landscape Commercial Fertilizer.  Pesticide applicators can also earn up to 4 CEUs for any license they hold.

Training materials and lunch will be provided.  A fee of  US $20.00  is required to attend.  Preregistration (name, company, phone number or email) to our office is required by March 17.

Please circulate this revised announcement as widely and creatively as you can.

Con mucho gusto,

Dan
