The University of Florida/IFAS/North Florida Research and Education Center, will host its 2011 Fall Field Day on Tuesday, October 11th beginning at 4:00 pm eastern time.
This year tours will include but not limited to “Deciduous Fruit and cold-hardy Citrus”, “Perennial Peanut as an Eco-Friendly Turf and Forage”, “Tomato Varieties for Florida and the Southeastern U.S.”, “Wood to Energy through Pyrolysis”. The Field Day will be held at the NFREC-Quincy, located off Pat Thomas Parkway at 155 Research Road. Registration begins at 4:00 pm. This event is free to the public however pre-registration is required by Thursday, October 6. To register please visit http://fallfieldday2011.eventbrite.com.
