Reminder: 2011 Nutrition Management Workshop at GCREC-October 6, 2011

On October 6 this year the 2011 Vegetable and Small Fruit Nutrition Management Workshop will be held at the Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Balm.  This workshop will be from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and is being coordinated by Alicia Whidden, Hillsborough County Extension Service, Crystal Snodgrass, Manatee County Extension Office, Dr. Bielinski Santos and Teresa Salamé of the GCREC.  A copy of the program is attached.  The objective of the workshop is to educate growers, farm managers, crop consultants, and extension agents on the basic concepts and applied aspects of fertilization of the most important crops in the area (i.e. tomato, pepper, strawberry, blueberry, cucurbits). This meeting is free and open to all interested producers, crop consultants, extension agents, industry representatives, etc.
