FW: Announcement: Sept 2nd Muscadine Grape Growers Field Day

Greetings, members and supporters of the SW FL Small Farmers Network (SWFSFN).  I’m pleased to share with you this announcement of the upcoming muscadine grape growers field day on September 2, 2011 at the Center for Viticultural Science and Small Fruits of  FL A& M University in Tallhassee, FL – see attachment and http://www.famu.edu/cesta/main/index.cfm/research/center-for-viticultural-sciences-and-small-fruit/

 

If you are interested in grape production as part of diversifying your small farming operations, I highly recommend this field day.  Yes, it is a long distance to drive but hopefully persons who are interested in attending it can self-organize carpooling to get to it.  To this end, I would recommend using our SWFSFN Yahoo Group website for this purpose – see http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/SW_FL_Small_Farms/
