Fall Field Day

The University of Florida/IFAS/North Florida Research and Education Center, will host its 2010 Fall Field Day on Tuesday October 5th beginning at 4:00 pm eastern time.
This year tours will include but not limited to “Deciduous and cold-hardy Fruit”, “Florida-An Island for Invasive Pests”, “Fall Pumpkin and Winter Squash Demonstration”, “Great Expectations for Gardens and Landscape” and “Easy Hydroponics for Hobbyists and Homeowners”. The programs at NFREC-Quincy cover a wide range of crops; including vegetables, small grains, agronomic row crops, forages, ornamentals, tree fruits, wildlife, and forestry.
The Field Day will be held at the NFREC-Quincy, located off Pat Thomas Parkway at 155 Research Road. Registration begins at 4:00 pm. The cost is $5.00 and pre-registration is required by Thursday, September 30. All payments will be accepted via cash or check made payable to University of Florida.
