Meeting Announcement: Fumigation Certification Class

 

I would like to invite you to a Fumigation Certification Class on Friday Sept. 3, 2010 at the UF/IFAS Manatee County Extension Office, 1303 17^th St. West Palmetto, FL

Kendrick Auditorium

 

Class will run from 1:00pm-4:30pm Cost is $10 per person. Please bring cash or check made payable to “Manatee County Friends of Extension”

 

This Fumigation Certification and Commercial Restricted Pesticide Use Fumigation License Preparation Class will satisfy the handler certification requirement for workers in areas where methyl bromide is being applied.

Certificates will be provided to attendees.

 

Note - new labels are due on all fumigants, but until such time this training will satisfy the fumigant certification requirement. We will also provide an update on proposed changes and provide copies of EPA suggested fumigant management plans.

 

3 CEUs are available in The Soil Fumigation and Private Applicator Categories.
