Attached are agendas for the four scheduled public meetings to consider draft reports on the development of numeric nutrient criteria for specific estuarine and coastal systems in Florida.  Please note that the meeting on August 31 and September 1, 2010, originally scheduled in Ponte Vedra Beach, has been moved to Bunnell.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but we have learned that the facility in Ponte Vedra Beach may not have functional air conditioning on those dates.  The Bunnell public meeting is scheduled as follows:

TIME:                    1:00 p.m. (Aug. 31) and 9:00 a.m. (Sep. 1)

The Department is in the process of posting draft reports on the development of numeric nutrient criteria for specific estuarine systems.  These draft reports will be posted in the very near future to the Department’s website at http://www.dep.state.fl.us/water/wqssp/nutrients/estuarine.htm .  We encourage you to read these reports in advance of the public meetings, since the reports will be the primary focus at the meetings.  Also, please note that these draft reports are works in progress.  Each report will be dated.  If revisions are needed, the more recent draft will replace the previous draft on the webpage.  Please check the webpage periodically over the next several weeks as draft reports are posted.
