To Members and Supporters of the SW FL Small Farmers Network, I ‘m very happy to share with you the following announcement:
The Southern SAWG annual conference will be held in Chattanooga, TN January 19-22, 2011. This is one of the premier conferences for farmers in the South - and everyone is invited! Every year, we are all amazed at the wealth of information that we receive from sessions and other farmers. For more information on the conference: http://www.ssawg.org/conference-.html
Florida SARE will be able to provide travel scholarships for selected individuals. Priority will be given to limited resource and minority producers, producers currently farming, or those soon to be farming in the state of Florida with a serious desire to learn about sustainable farming systems.
If you are interested in attending the conference, I strongly urge you to complete the application form so you can represent our region of Florida and implement this information to improve your farming operations. The application process and form are described in the attachment file . . .
