chicken program

A Raising Chickens 101 class is coming up Saturday, February 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at the UF/IFAS Polk County Extension office in Bartow.  There is a $5 charge for the program which will feature Mr. Joe Walter of UF/IFAS Brevard County Extension.  Joe is very experienced in poultry and the class is designed for those new to raising chickens.  Legal requirements to sell eggs will also be covered.
