Hello,
Please see attached info on a February 23 Building Your Own Farm’s Food Safety Manual program to be held at the Neil Combee, Polk County BOCC Administration Building, 5th floor computer lab in Bartow.
We’ll help small farmers to construct their food safety program in a unique way- we’ll actually sit them in front of computers and walk them through creating one! Participants will leave the program with a completed manual they can use for their farm. Food safety is always important and recent events involving cantaloupe only heighten concerns on the part of consumers and distributers.
