Export for Agribusiness Seminar

The "Export for Agribusiness" Seminar will be held October 26,2016 in East Palatka at the Putnam County Extension Office.Similar seminars have been conducted the past two years with participants from throughout the state giving very positive reviews.A promotional flyer is attached.Please advertise to your clientele and economic development partners.

The target audience is the pre-export, new to export, and infrequent small business exporter in the following categories:agribusinesses such as growers/farmers, supply chain service providers,food businesses such as retail foodstuffs, snack, beverage, and related service providers,resource partners and economic development professionals.The goal of the event is to bring together the small business target audience with resource providers and subject matter experts to deliver a practical, back-to-basics seminar on how to export agricultural and retail food/beverage products.  By developing this skill, the Florida economy will be strengthened by diversifying and expanding markets and ultimately creating new jobs to support increased production.

Here’s a sample description of the event:  Join a host of export and agriculture professionals to learn about government programs and resources to assist small businesses in their export endeavors.  This seminar is available to companies interested in learning more about how to export agricultural commodities and packaged food products.
