Dear Florida Small Farms and Alternative Enterprises Participant,

 

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for your participation in the recent small farms conference. At the conclusion of the event, we had welcomed nearly 800 attendees, presented 36 educational sessions with over 100 speakers, opened 87 exhibits, and displayed 18 educational posters and nine live animal educational exhibits. We also served a great diversity of delicious food from Florida small farms, recognized three Innovative Small Farms, enjoyed an inspirational keynote address and networked with many new acquaintances.

 

The website has been updated to include various materials from the conference. Many of our speakers have graciously shared their presentation slides and/or handouts. We sincerely appreciate their generosity and ask if you reference any material, to please provide the proper acknowledgements for your source. The program book, distributed at the conference is posted online as a pdf. Photos of the event provided courtesy of Tyler Jones, photographer for UF, IFAS are posted as well. Thus, the website is worth another visit. We are very excited about the enthusiasm, synergy, and project plans that have resulted from the information shared at the conference and planning for the next event is underway.
