For those interested in the current status of the possible revisions in the FDACS regulations afttecting direct marketing by small farmers in FL, the Florida Food Safety and Defense Council is holding a public meeting on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Tallahassee.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide a public forum for discussion of the small farms report that was produced last year. The report has been provided to the Speaker of the House and Senate President by Commissioner of Agriculture Charles Bronson. I have attached the workshop agenda and the small farm subcommittee's final report (see links below for agenda, location and time). If you know anyone that wants to attend and give comments/input, please forward them this information.
