The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is sponsoring a statewide student cooking contest for grades 4-12. Students are to submit an original and healthy snack recipe that uses a “Fresh From Florida” product. Finalists will be chosen to prepare their recipe at their local Publix Aprons Cooking School where cash prizes will be awarded. Entries are due by September 14 at www.FreshFromFlorida.com/CookOff.
