Registration for the 2015 FL Pomegranate Annual Meeting Opens Today
This year the Annual Florida Pomegranate Meeting provides the pomegranate growers and enthusiasts the perfect platform for a day filled with information on cultural practices focused on establishing pomegranate as a sustainable crop in Florida's future. Commercial growers and homeowners alike will find great value in the wealth of information to be shared by the GCREC Pomegranate Research Team. Each year, the cast of notable speakers for the FPA Annual Meeting continues to top the previous year – this year is no exception! Dr. Bill Castle has rounded up some of the pioneers of the pomegranate arena to share their expertise.
All Extension Agents are encouraged to attend the annual meeting for Florida's most fascinating specialty crop. Plan now to join us in central Florida meet our distinguished guests and experience for yourself our famous pomegranate taste test. FPA is gathering multiple varieties to taste and will introduce the largest collection of Florida grown pomegranates ever assembled. A chef-prepared pomegranate infused lunch will be served. Pomegranate trees and door prizes are given away throughout the day.
