50 Days Left for Farmer Scholarhship to 2010 FL Small Farms and Alternative Enterprises Conference - ACT NOW!

Greetings, members and supporters of the SW FL Small Farmers Network.  I’m sharing with you this friendly reminder concerning our 2010 FL Small Farms Conference on July 31-Aug 1, 2010.  Specifically, there are only 50 days left to the deadline to file an application for a small farmer scholarship for a full or partial registration scholarship, up to a $110 value. This opportunity will be available based on the total amount of donations received for this purpose. Other costs associated with the conference such as travel, lodging, and incidentals are not covered under the registration scholarship and will be the responsibility of the individual.

Submit your application early! Applications will be reviewed in the order received. All applicants will be notified by June 18. Florida small farmers applying should complete the application and send by June 15 for consideration.

FYI – also there are only 77 days left for the “early bird special” price of $110 for both days of the conference.   Online registration will become active this week!

To  register online for both the Farmer Scholarship and the “Early Bird” price go to the conference link on the website at http://smallfarms.ifas.ufl.edu

Thanks, and please, help me distribute this announcement by distributing it to your small farmer associates and supporters.
