Greetings Extension Directors and Staff,
Florida A& M University is hosting the first National Goat Conference on Sept. 12-15th, 2010. We are looking forward to a huge turnout and would like your help in getting this information to people in your area. Producers, agricultural professionals, goat and sheep associations, businesses, students, and any one interested in the goat and sheep industry are welcome to attend. Registration is now open at www.famu.edu/goats
Also, we are asking for poster abstracts and submissions for the conference. The deadline for poster abstracts is April 15th.
As Extension directors and staff, you are in contact in several people who can benefit from attending the National Goat Conference and will be integral in making this conference a success. so, if you or anyone in your office know anyone who could benefit or might be interested, be sure to pass the information along.
In fact, we attached a press release for the conference and poster guidelines to this email.
