The Florida West coast RC&D has received funding for 5 "traditionally underserved" producers to attend the 21st annual Practical Tools and Solutions for Sustaining Family Farms conference in Little Rock, Arkansas January 18-21, 2012. Reply to this e-mail for more information on the scholarships - which include travel and lodging. More information will be available soon. Contact Danny Smith.  We have scholarship applications available for the 2012 Beginning Farmer and Rancher Conference in February 18-20 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Beginning Farmers and Ranchers Conference provides an opportunity for farmers to meet and learn from experts and to network with other farmers from around the country.
